A Song for Slack

The morning has become resolute
-within her boundaries-
of light
and song
to awaken the dreamer
into wide afternoons
of curved spines
and to sing for slack
with its dense and obsessive words
that are better left

I have been dealing with depression and anxiety for over twenty years and find drawing, painting and writing very therapeutic in discovering the reality of the situation.
